Abstract
The aim of this work is the study of the effect of the absorber’s properties on the instantaneous efficiency of a flat plat collector. For this, we have established the equations governing the thermal behavior of the collector in a transitory regime by using the nodal method. The resolution of the obtained system of equations was treated by two numerical approaches: iterative method of Gauss-Seidel and that of Runge-Kutta 4.The studied properties of the absorber are: its specific heat, its thermal conductivity and its absorptivity. In the other hand, the effects of the absorber’s temperature and the difference between the temperature of the absorber and the glass are studied.
