Abstract
This paper presents the comparison between different PWM methods of Z source inverter for PMSG based wind energy conversion system to procure an efficient and stable utilization of wind energy. The shoot through duty cycle of z source inverter adjusted to acquire voltage buck and boost for the purpose of Maximum power point tracking. The shoot through pulses is controlled by different PWM methods. In this paper, three PWM control methods: simple boost, maximum boost and maximum constant boost PWM control compared for different wind speed conditions with MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
