Abstract
This paper is devoted to the Quasi-Z-Source converter family which is applicable for renewable energy applications such as fuel cells, solar panels, and wind turbines, because the energy which we will obtain from the solar cells and fuel cells are widely varying in nature. During the input voltage is less the load will not get the continuous input current. So in order to get the continuous input current Qusi-Z-Source inverter is introduced with the special shoot through concept. With the cascaded QZSI network the shoot through duty cycle is reduced by 30% with the same voltage boost factor. The Quasi-Z-Source network is capable of performing the Boost and Buck function within the single stage without going for the external boost converter.
