Abstract
This paper presents a novel stabilized Vehicle to Grid - Smart Grid Energy Utilization Interface System. The Facts based low impact battery charging scheme for Electric Vehicles with DC motor drive Scheme is fully stabilized using a hybrid FACTS based green filter compensator GPFC that ensures a fully stabilized Common-DC Bus voltage with reduced inrush current conditions under AC and DC source and load excursions. The Battery is charged efficiently using the error driven multi loop control strategy. The FACTS scheme ensures a robust decoupled AC-DC Interface with minimal impact on the local AC Grid under fast charging and Inrush current conditions with less voltage drops and excursions. The dynamic Filter Compensator Scheme is controlled using the Modified Dual- loop PID controller to control the Four-Quadrant Chopper and hybrid Green Power Filter Compensator (GPFC).
