Abstract
Renewable energies are environment-friendly energies with solar origin. The most important renewable energies are wind, hydro and biomass energies. In contrast with fossil fuels, usage of renewable energies doesn’t lead to air pollution and greenhouse effects leading to global warming. Also, renewable energies are not limited because their origin is solar energy. Therefore, renewable energies are called clean and infinite resources of energy. Among renewable energies, wind energy is of the highest importance due to its abundance, availability and easiness for conversion into electrical energy. Superficial or low altitude winds are available on the earth surface. But, high altitude winds consist of two main air flow called polar front jet and main jet stream which available at altitude of 7 to 12 kilometer.
