Abstract
The article analyzes methods for processing dust coming out of the chimneys of furnaces of copper smelters and extracting heavy non-ferrous and rare metals from their composition. Copper and zinc are separated into a solution in sulfuric acid, the lead in the cake is transferred to a saline solution, silver is separated from the cake into a solution in nitric acid, and the gold remaining in the cake is leached in aqua regia.
