Abstract
A mathematical report utilizing limited component investigation (PLAXIS 2D, form 8.2) was completed on both supported and unreinforced non-woven geotextile sand slants to confirm the model experimental outcomes. The numerical model was kept the same size as the test model in the laboratory, the observed and computed results were found to be reasonably consistent, in regard of mathematical and exploratory outcomes, the basic upsides of the non-woven geotextile boundaries for most extreme supporting impacts were laid out. The bearing capacity reduction coefficient (iβ) and X/B. In the current study, the maximum iβ is found at X=5B, and it is evident that the values of iβ increase with increasing edge distance of slope. At X/B ratios of 0, 1, 3, 4, and 5, the experimental and numerical analysis agree very well on the iβ for both scenarios.
