Abstract
Henna cultivation involves various unit operations from its propagation to its harvesting. Most of the henna harvesting in Pali region ofRajasthan performed manually. Henna harvesting is considered a very drudgery prone work. Present study was planned to asses thepostural discomfort in the selected henna harvesting workers using two postural assessment techniques, namely, overall discomfort scoreand body part discomfort score. The result of experiment revealed that henna harvesting workers average overall discomfort score was 6.99out 10 which fall under category of severe pain. The body part discomfort score for the workers was 39.73. Therefore, it can be concludedworkers involved in henna harvesting were under extreme postural discomfort and therefore, need immediate action plan to improve theirwork posture.
