Abstract
Today, the development of appropriate strategies as one of the basic tools of companies to compete in the markets of the e-commerce era. The strategy formulation process is inelastic with common strategic management models such as balanced scorecard and SWOT model in the face of market changes and competitive behaviour of competitors. In this article, after reviewing the general structure of strategy formulation using the balanced scorecard model, the mentioned shortcomings in the strategy formulation process are examined.
