Abstract
The present article analyses the 2016 peruvian presidential electoral process. The second electoral round was disputed between Pedro Pabro Kuczynski and Keiko Fujimori Higuchi. Fugimori Higuchi is the daughter of the former president Alberto Fujimori, who’s serving a sentence of 25 years in prison for human rights violation and corruption. In this analysis is highlighted the role of the peruvian left in Pedro Pablo Kuczynski triumph. Together with a huge citizen mobilization, diverse political forces manifested in favor of Kuczynski candidature as a sample of the antifujimorista vote.
