Abstract
This is a quantitative research whose purpose is to analyze the problem of cyberbullying in eighth grade students of two educational establishments in the commune of Los Angeles in the province of Biobío, one of which is located in the urban sector and the other in the rural sector, the latter, specifically, in the Santa Fe sector. In order to analyze this problem, a survey will be conducted to obtain the students' perspective and familiarization with the topic to be investigated. On the other hand, concepts, characteristics and effects of the different modalities that this new form of virtual aggression can adopt will be analyzed. In this way, the effect of this phenomenon on students will be determined, as well as the influence of social networks on the types of human relationships and the protocols proposed by the establishments to face this situation will be identified.
