Abstract
The present work exposes basic guidelines that lead the design, implementation and evaluation of innovation projects in educational institutions, so that teachers have the possibility of venturing into proposals related to the implementation of the curriculum. Change understood not as simple ideas, but as a process that allows to improve the educational quality and the dynamics of the pedagogical practices in the classroom or in other school spaces, being the projects a mechanism that enhances the teaching-learning processes. For its realization it has been consulted in different bibliographical sources, studies and researches whose object of analysis has been innovation within the educational field, determining basic components synthesized into protocols that will guide the design, implementation and evaluation of innovation projects.
