Abstract
Ecuador is a multiethnic and pluricultural nation. Its population exceeds 16 million inhabitants. Of this, approximately 6.5 million live on the Pacific Coast. Contemporary Ecuadorian culture has diverse and deep roots in a history as rich as multiethnic. So it was investigated on the most representative cultures of the coast, its language, location, dress, traditions, etc. Same cultures that are: Chorrera, Bahia, Guangala, Jama Coaque, Manteña, Tolita, Valdivia. Each culture is interesting because of its origins, clothing, among others; Analyzing the above mentioned it was possible to conclude that the Ecuadorian Coast has still alive its cultures, giving us to know extraordinary knowledge about them.
