Abstract
This article is based on the classical conceptions of market and reviews some of the criticism from anthropology that this model is made to consider other aspects that will come to constitute contributions to the etnoeconomía. This paper uses the ethnography as a conceptual tool methodology to analyze the market from the field variables and sand. A visit to Ponchos Market in Otavalo city in which they are identified and merges both visions in order to broaden the interpretation of this reality is made.
