Abstract
Tourism is recognized as a rural development mechanism in terms of its socio-economic condition towards rural communities, such as creating local rural incomes and employment, contributing local amenities and services, and aiding local culture resources conservation.Tourism is one of the growing industry in Sri Lanka in the post war development. Its contribution to the Sri Lanka economy is vital in same context.
