Abstract
This study was carried out to examine the relationship between adolescents' violence tendency levels and parental attitudes. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in an Anatolian high school in Aksaray city center. The research was conducted with 273 students who were studying in the 2018-2019 academic year, who had parental permission and agreed to participate in the study. The data were collected using by Student Information Form, Parental Attitude Scale (PAS) and Adolescents’ Attitudes Towards Violence Scale (ATVS). For data evaluation descriptive statistics and Spearman Correlation analysis were used. It was determined mean age of students participating the study was 15.49±0.85, 52.4% of them were female and 1/5 of the students were exposed to violence within the family. It was determined that.
