Abstract
Introduction Diet surveys are arguably the most important methods of nutritional assessment in children and adults. The 24-hour recall method (Questionnaire method) is the most frequently used during diet surveys at the field level. However, it involves the cumbersome process of tallying and compiling data and hence susceptible to errors due to the repetitive nature of the calculations. Objectives To develop a cross platform application for Android and Windows Operating systems for diet surveys at the field level and field test the application on 4 rural families.
