Abstract
Agricultural entrepreneurship and related activities generate greater income generation and employment for rural households. Yet the successful operation of a business faces several obstacles. A right motivation guides and drives the entrepreneurs towards achievement of their goals. In this direction Krishi Vigiyan Kendras offers a range of training and capacity building programmes, motivating entrepreneurial activities. The study was purposively conducted in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Center) operating under ICARNDRI which imparts regular training to farmers, youth and women on major areas of agriculture such as crop production, dairy farming, dairy processing vermiculture, beekeeping, fish farming and home science.
