Abstract
Uptake of nutrients at different growth stages was assessed at field experiment conducted during kharif, 2018 at College Farm, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. At all the growth stages viz., panicle initiation, flowering and at harvest the effect of management practices, varieties and their interaction was found significant for nitrogen and potassium uptake where there was no significant interaction effect for phosphorous uptake. The higher nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium uptake was registered with In Situ green manuring in all the varieties viz., RNR 15048, KNM 118, JGL 11118 and CSR 36. The other management practices viz., application of FYM and leaching of salts with irrigation water were found to be significantly superior over control. Compared to the check variety CSR 36, the highest nutrient uptake for nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium uptake was recorded by RNR 15048 over KNM 118 and JGL 11118 at all the ...
