Abstract
A field trial was conducted to find out the suitable NDVI value and optimum nitrogen level for North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on sandy loam soils of Agricultural College Farm, Naira, during kharif, 2018 with four NDVI values of green seeker in combination with four nitrogen levels. The results revealed that, nitrogen uptake at all stages except at active tillering stage was highest with the NDVI value 0.8 with elevated drymatter production and grain yield at 120 kg N ha-1 and found significantly superior over rest of the NDVI values of green seeker and nitrogen levels.
