Abstract
Influence of different levels of fertigation and soil application of fertilizers was studied on 5 year old pre-bearing Nagpur mandarin crop with high plant density of 6 x 3 m at Center of Excellence for Citrus (CEC), College of Agriculture, Nagpur during the 2015-16 The experiment was laid out in RBD with six treatments and four replications, consisting of one treatment of soil application of NPK fertilizers as per Dr PDKV Akola recommended dose (RDF) for normal 6 x 6 m spacing (T1) and five fertigation treatments (T2 to T6) i.e. 160%, 140%, 120%, 100% and 80% of the recommended dose of RDF in 9 equal splits. Fertigation treatment T2 (160% RDF through fertigation) recorded highest available soil N, P and K content (260.93, 21.22 and 453.30 kg ha-1 respectively) whereas treatment T1 (Soil application with RDF) recorded lowest available soil N, P and K content (200.32, 16.82 and 418.0 kg ha-1 respectively). Similar trend was observed in...
