Abstract
The present study was carried out to evaluate the influence of Moringa oleifera leaf extracts on carcass traits and mortality of broilerchickens. A total of 250-day-old broiler chicks (Vencobb-430) were randomly distributed into five groups with 5 replicates of 10 birds ineach. Different dietary treatments were; basal diet with no supplement (NC- negative control) and basal diet supplemented with antibiotics(PC-positive control), aqueous extract of 1.5% Moringa powder (MOAQE), ether extract of 1.5% Moringa powder (MOEE) and alcoholicextract of 1.5% Moringa powder (MOALE). Percent weight of various cut parts, eviscerated weight and drawn yield were evaluated after 35days of experiment. The results showed significantly higher eviscerated weight and drawn yield percentage in Moringa extractssupplemented groups compared to PC group. PC and MOAQE group recorded significantly (P
