Abstract
This study aimed at determining the in vitro antimicrobial activity of soil actinomycetes isolated from a temple tank and their morphologicalcharacterization. In the current study, the antimicrobial prospective of actinomycetes has been estimated with preliminary screening of onesoil samples. Secondary screening was carried out next to Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Vibrio chlorae, Shawanella putrefaciensEscherichia coli, and Candida albicans and bacterial and fungal test strains, fifteen vigorous isolates be certain for more study. Microbialstrains be recognized on the origin of development conditions and other biochemical characters. In conclusion, we study the isolation andbacterial strains of actinomycetes for producing one potential compounds having antibacterial and antifungal activities from the Templetank - actinomycetes from the Karaikal region.
