Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at research and demonstration block of Research Institute on Organic Farming, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluruduring 2016 and 2017 to study the influence of different proportions of organic manures viz., compost, vermicompost and poultry manure onyield and microbial dynamics of okra. The experiment was laid out in Randomised Completely Block Design. There were 12 treatmentsconsisted with different proportions of organic manures and were replicated thrice. Among the different proportions of organic manuretreatments, T12 [T5 (C:VC:PM-50:25:25 %) + application of jeevamrutha at 20, 40, 60 and 80 DAS] recorded significantly higher fruit yield(7.41 and 8.98 t ha-1) as compared to rest of treatments. Significantly higher bacteria (38.76
