Abstract Abstract Climate change is posing a serious environmental, economic, and social issue and its impacts were observed in the study area in particular, whose livelihoods depend on agriculture. Perception is a condition for farmers to understand the situation and invest in appropriate adaptation strategies to reduce effects of climate change and farmers need to recognize the changes in climate already taking place in appropriate investments towards adaptation. As a result, this study was carried out in three districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra state. The study sample comprised of 120 farmers selected randomly. For study twelve independent variables and one dependent variable were taken to study the profile of farmers.
