Scope
Reviewed journal "Problems of historical poetics" is published in electronic and printed forms. Original articles in Russian, English, German and French which have not been issued in any other forms can be published in the journal.Historical poetics is a discovery of academician Aleksandr Nikolaevich Veselovskiy (1838-1906). In his articles published in 1870-1890 he formed his own concept of research with its own methodology (induction), principles (historism) and thesaurus (new and traditional categories of poetics). Its aim, as A.N. Veselovskiy described, is to study the evolution of poetic consciousness and it forms, its task is to determine the role and boundaries of legends in the process of personal creativity.Since the middle of the 20th century historical poetics has become one of the leading areas of philology.
