Survey of Subject-Object causatives in Azery Turkish on basis of Role and Reference Grammar

Abstract The purpose of this study is a survey of the characteristics of complex Subject-Object  causatives and  its constructions and differences in Azery Turkish from the Role and Reference Grammar prescriptive. In this framework, causative constructions are part of universal characteristics and can be realized in different forms in a language.The selection of causative constructions was based on modern everyday vernacular as well as contemporary written texts. Once the data were chosen, their meanings and interpretations along with their phonemic transcription were presented. Then, the data weranalyzed within the Role and Reference Grammar framework. The most important conclusion drawn from the findings is causatives show complex causatives show indirect one. Also, there is a specific relationship between semantic, syntactic and pragmatics characteristics of causatives and inter-clausal semantic relations.Keywords: Complex causative, Subj...
