Abstract
 In this thesis, the purpose is increasing the available power of lines by using control series compensator to increase the available transfer capacity by frog optimization algorithm.to achieve this goal, first, the equipment were modeled to be applied in load distribution. Then, by using the frog optimization algorithm, amount and position of the equipment were determined and solved for different states of installation limitation. This algorithm was used by MATLAB software and was applied on a IEEE 30 boss system. The results show high effect of the controlled series compensator installation on available transfer capability. Index Terms— available transfer capability of the controlled series compensator frog optimization algorithm.Â
