Abstract
Of the main problems in photovoltaic systems are low efficiency of conversion of electrical energy and efficiency decreases with increasing temperature, since increasing temperature causes decrease in open circuit voltage and consequently reduction in the efficiency of photovoltaic system. By adding a heat recovery system to photovoltaic systems we can increase electrical efficiency and overall efficiency of the system.In this article, the use of a solar photovoltaic thermal collector (PV/T) to produce electricity and heat has been studied simultaneously. The governing equations for fluid systems is obtained and the reduction of electrical efficiency is corresponded according to temperature rise by using the practical data and through the experiment of this model, we evaluate the effective parameters of thermal photovoltaic collector to improve electrical and thermal efficiency.
